PASTEURIZATION AND PROCESSING
Our fresh crabs are steam-cooked to perfection, then allowed to cool before the meat is carefully hand-picked. Each piece is meticulously graded, placed into cans, hermetically sealed, and pasteurized.
Pasteurization is a precise heat treatment process that destroys harmful microorganisms, extending shelf life without the use of artificial preservatives. Once pasteurized, our crab meat boasts a 15-month shelf life in cans when properly refrigerated.
Every batch is hand-picked through a rigorous selection process to ensure only the finest meat is chosen. This method not only eliminates harmful bacteria but also preserves the crab’s natural protein, flavor, and delicate texture.
